Rusty Racer (Late 1970's?) The oily rag treatment.

I've picked up this late 1970's racer:

A quick rub down with an oily rag and it'll be as good as new.

Doesn't look like it needs too much doing to besides the basics.
All you need now is one one of those big Pifco(?) lights to go on that fork bracket.
That metallic brown colour was very popular I remember and not only on bikes, here's a Cortina from the same year;

Looks like an ideal machine for some gentle riding

A little Lezyne Femto Drive front blinky sits on the fork lamp bracket very nicely for those dusk rides.

Looks like it has been in there for a long time. Could be a really vintage machine when cleaned up.
