Last Sunday I had the pleasure of watching my old thin cover get literally torn in half by the strong winds we had, so I'm in the market for a decent one if such an item exists.

What do you use to keep your pride and joy safe from the elements?

On a more serious note this could be a good idea Bike tent or see if you can pick up a cheep bike shed

Very nice, unfortunately that is bigger than my house and garden, nowhere practical to mount it. Otherwise great idea

Or if you dont want to spend that much pop to homebase/B&Q and get a BBQ cover for about £6.99

Hmm hadn't thought about B&Q, I'll check their site and see if anything's cooking.
