I don't believe in love at first sight. But, the blokes I've been significantly involved with (ie proper relationships, and it's only 2, including the person I'm married to) look very similar ie height, build, hair and eye colour...and they wear glasses too, which I can't explain... I would say it's the particular combination of personality and looks which makes a person attractive. What's interesting is that I have several other male friends who conform to this physical 'type', but they don't do anything for me in the trouser department. But then that's probably because I'm married and a faithful type anyway. Oh it's complicated.

Love at first sight is impossible unless you define love as merely being 'looks attractive and interesting'. 

It might be that you thought somebody looked very attractive and interesting when you first met them and they didn't disappoint you when they started talking to you. It might not even take very long for you to fall for them, but I think that you at least need to talk to a person before you can start to develop deep feelings for them.

If love at first sight really was possible, then you could love somebody after only seeing a photograph of them. That's called 'fancying', folks!
