Bicycle: a means of transport between cake-stops

Yep, though I'm heading in a worryingly eco-warriorish direction. A few years ago, I had 2.125 cars (one road car, one track car and an 1/8th share in a second track car), a motorcycle and a bicycle. These days, I have one old-man's road car, no track cars, no motorcycle, two bicycles and I'm considering the purchase of a bicycle trailer to do more local shopping trips by cycle.

Technically the wife owns the car i only drive it if ......

A, we are going somewhere the wife doesn't know/far as she only likes to drive locally .

B, Friday night shift as we finish at 3 am and i do not fancy cycling home with roads that have people going home drunk or abusive and taxi drivers bombing about.

I saw a 2CV in a lay-by a few years back. The next day it was still there but someone had kindly bent all the doors down so it had four sort of wings sticking out.

That happened to my first one. It might be why I like to take the doors off.;)
