Evans Cycles - Good or bad experiences?

Mixed thoughts on my local Evans, really helpful in the ordering and test rides and with accessories. But my bike had no reflectors or bell, didn't notice in my excitement and doesn't shift through the gears properly.
I have taken it in to get the gearing done and it has come back with pretty much the same problem so going to have to go back there again.

Sometimes I just can't be arsed to ask people to move so ping the bell. I wanted the rear reflector for night time to make it road legal

Thumbs up for the Brighton branch, consistently helpful since it has been open. They bit corporate humble pie when an in-store order went wrong twice and finally supplied a higher spec item at no extra cost as an apology.
