Ever amazed by your own stupidity?

I've just sprayed some flies with paint instead of fly killer. Fortunately I didn't shake the can too much so it was mainly solvent that came out.

They were flies, now they're bluebottles.

(Does anyone still use that term for blue coloured flies?)

Bluebottles are pretty big in comparison to ordinary house flies and yes they are still bluebottles.

I've just done it again except this time I used WD40 and it actually killed the flies!

Yes, I have done big day at work today, multiple dents on ten cars with about 70 miles of driving as well, just got back home a few minutes ago and I am going to get changed and go to the gym ten miles away, at 69 you would think I would know better.
