This is my favourite, from the Vulcan Arms at Sizewell in Suffolk - covers all bases.
Here's one from Earl Sterndale in Derbyshire.
From my one visit, the sign is more notable than the pub.
There's a pub in Welling called "Fanny on the Hill", I havent got a picture of the sign though.
HERE (Well the pub at least). I've been past a few times but I've never been in.
...and Molly Mallone has set up stall outside.
Not so much a favourite, as a 'topical (then) discovery' which a few of us rode past somewhere in Wiltshire last year - at Solstice time. We didn't go in.
They'll get lots of free houses...and bleat about how little one has to upkeep them and one needs a little more money from one's devoted public etc. He definitely needs the Vulcan ears addition!
That's so bad it's good!
well that did load up.
neither did that.
The Bucket of Blood at Hayle.
I just had to call in for a beer on my LEJOG when I saw the pub name.
Landlord: "I want a sign with Prince William and Kate."
Artist: "William's easy, but Kate's a bit tricky to paint."
Landlord: "Who can you do?"
Artist: "How about Courtney Cox?"
Landlord: "Fine. Nobody will notice."
No it's not !
Any Idea why the picture shows until I hit post reply?
Is it from someone's Flickr? That happens sometimes.
Looks like you are trying to link to a picture that is located in your computer rather than on the internet so as soon as you have clicked reply it cant be found coz it is on your pc.
OK one final go.
I'll just post the link
