You’re still two weeks early for official Black Friday

Good point on the Black Friday official time. I don’t want to be doing a build right now. Too busy too skint. Maybe collect consumables for the summer.

If anyone is in need of a bargain set of rims but not in a rush, within the clearance section of superstar components you can get a set of Fuel 27mm 29er disc wheels with wasp sound hubs for £51! Bit on the heavy side at 2.05kg but bloody cheap!!

Mine showed up today, a bit smaller than what I currently carry.

Just beware as this is the "old" Roam, which as been superseded by https://www.balfesbikes.co.uk/accessories/electronics/wahoo-elemnt-roam-gen-2__38661

Hadn’t spotted that mine was now ye olde Gen1….a fantastic device (in my experience👍). Can’t say the new improved one sounds like it will really offer a lot of value to me, mine still has a solid 8-10 hours battery & works great.
Wish they would create a means of deleting routes from it: maybe they wouldn’t need the bigger memory 🤣

Pairs well with the bargain £120 Varia 515 someone spotted earlier at Argos (& the subject of a different thread for discussion 🤣👍)

Not sure if this was mentioned earlier, but https://www.quadlockcase.co.uk/collections/shop-mounts are offering 30% off….look pretty solid cases and bike mounts (I’ve lashed out on one….🤞)

Ive seen Mantel a few times...is it a legit site, Has anyone ever ordered anything from it ?

Just an update on this, they arrived yesterday via UPS, so 5 days from ordering, and that included an email of apology a few days ago to say delivery had been briefly delayed.

Items appear to be genuine, and there were no brexit/customs related issues with them coming from Europe.

All in all, I'm very pleased.

I have an original ELEMNT that I will probably replace with a new Roam at some point. My wife has one of the now superseded Roams and l like the colour display and routing options. The Varia Radars are really good

Halfords have some Topeak multi tools in their sale although it looks like you have to order them online for delivery or collection in store. I picked mine up today, Hexus X tool for £11.50.
