i just recived my planet x hamper today well worth £20. and i some how got next day delivery free or got lucky with the post.

and another note i contacted probikekit, about the zipvit energy gels i ordered askign when they would be turnign up as i seen they still had them in stock after 8 days of order processing, no reply but they also turned up.

theyre probably not the warmest,or the best quality but i thought very good value, they were warm enough last week around 2-3 degress

Phaart lights from Planet X arrived Today. Front is good for a fiver but the rear for £2.50 is the bargain of all time! Very bright

Got my hamper too very excited i was. Shame the rear skull light broke may order another phaart light. I got the dual 0.5w one. Is only one led meant to be main source of light?

I ordered one of the Phaart booster lights but got sent out a bleep so I phoned up Planet-X and they dispatched a bleep which arrived next day. Now that's good service and now have one of each luckily I have 2 bikes so works out well for £5 due to only buying the light on it's own so paid £2.50 postage which this now negates and makes me feel slightly better for paying the same price for postage as the light lol

Agreed! The Phaart "Bleep" Dual 0.5 watt and the Smart "Lunar R2" arrived this week, both are in 2 LED mode (no flash) with new batteries:

The Bleep is on the left, the Lunar R2 on the right. It's difficult to separate them from a light-output position, some modes appear better than others. I'm very happy with them both

I have checked power draw and on my ammeter I got 0.04 amp for the single and 0.11 amp for the dual
That works out at 0.12 watt for the single and 0.33 watt total for the dual. (alkaline batteries. 20% less if NiMH)

So dual is best.


They are still worth buying. With the single you get 24 hours solid use. probably 48 if flashing.
With the dual it should be more like 9 hours solid, 18 hours flashing.
