was in Lidl yesterday, they had padded bib shorts for about £6 and running/cool tops for about £5. Also had standard padded cycling shorts for £4/5. had a few other bits and pieces but didn't have a proper look

Be careful with these. I bought one for my nephew for his birthday and it broke within two days. The plastics cyclists are fitted very poorly to the base and his broke teh first time it came off the track. Not worth the reduced rate IMO.

It's awfy wee though - you'll find it hard to attach to anything other than a thin post. Mind you, that leaves less room for thieves to get leverage.

my thinking is that if it has the silver rating then it must be okay. I need a silver rated lock for my insurance even though I would only leave it outside my office and the security guards would catch any skulduggery going on. If it is big enough so that I can secure the frame and back wheel then attach the cables through the front wheel then I should be okay. fingers crossed
