Probably already listed in this thread, but I can now whoeheartedly vouch for buying two of these lights from Planet X. £15 down from £45, buy 2 lights which lightup unlit roads well for £30 when you should be paying £90.

Successfully got me through the Exmouth Exodus ride at the weekend and had a few comments as to how bright they were. Only real negative is that the spread isn't great. I rode the whole ride on low beam apart from steep descents as battery life on 2 AA batteries is only 5 hours on high beam.

Mine just arrived, too. Wish I'd ordered 2 now, very nice. I haven't bought them for riding in, they just look nice on as casual wear.

I'm gonna wear for casual as well as on the bike, wonder how long it'll take for some bright spark to comment on the back pockets.

I'm tempted but I fear the Mrs would shrink it like the last one

Don't you ever do the washing?

Lucky man.

I do but not when she decided it needed washing!

Didn't you tell her that merino doesn't need washing more than once-a-student-can-be-bothered ?

... or had you really been wearing it so much that it had finally decided to become a bit 'whiffy' ?
