Never having ridden one, in what way is titanium a nicer ride? Or is it about the weight saving on steel and lack of rust?

I personally prefer carbon over titanium, but I prefer titanium over alloy or steel to ride.
I didn't feel the ride quality was as good as carbon, but titanium is very durable
