Global inflation over the last 3 years, not sure why it's a joke? Is what it is, no one has to spend £170-180 on a pair of pedals, or frankly £120 (bit of a First World Problem surely

Hmm. Not something I'd buy (I use M520's), but I can see the appeal of those...... interestingly they appear to use a bearing retainer which looks as if the shimano removal tool for M520 would fit?

No idea. If i need recessed cleat shoes I have some A520 pedals I use. I have some M520 pedals somewhere but have never removed anything out of them!

I think you boys missed the fact that these pedals, with a 4mm extended axle, is a bit specific product. Reason why I posted about it was because they're not very often in stock, and when they are available, they're often more expensive than standard ones. Some people - with wider hips or flaring feet simply need these so thought it would be helpful.

LOL I knew this would draw you in. Our wages haven’t inflated anywhere near cycling parts.
Those keo pedals look a real bargain but I’m on speed play nowadays.
