A new tandem that likely fits in the car, for £340 ! Might be worth the risk for someone.
The same seller has a 16" 12kg disc braked folder with wheeled rack for £320 or less.

plenty of cycling bits and bobs in the middle of Lidl today...

Grabbed a torque wrench. Not sure why.
Grabbed a multitool. Seems sturdy... not sure about the 15mm spanner though.
Grabbed a small saddle bag with multitool and puncture kit. The patches will be handy to have.
Grabbed a little bell. Ding ding.
Grabbed a speed square. No use on the bike.
Grabbed a bottle of Rioja.

Thanks - no saddle bags in my local Lidl but I did buy a nifty handheld cordless tyre pump. It's topped up both cars' tyres and isn't showing any battery loss at all. The screen suggests that it would fill my bike tyres to 80psi at least. A good thing to keep in the car, certainly. Joined LidlPlus and got it for about £12.50 too.

I wasn't very impressed with the saddle bag or the tool the came with it. Good bargain on the pump though

Back around Nov '22, I bought a pair of Vel 50 RL carbon 50mm deep rim wheels from Sigmasport (for ~£260 in Black Friday sales?), hoping that my covid infection was a short term thing like previous infections and I would regain my ~320W 4W/Kg 20mins fitness to make use of my first ever semi-aero wheels.

Sigma don't seem to stock much Vel equipment these days, but I must buy the q/r adaptors for ~£4 each, so I could put the wheels on my Voodoo Marasa hybrid.

But main reason for posting was that while window shopping bike bits on Amazon last night, I came across these Vel carbon wheels, various models that cost ~£30 postage, making a set very similar to my 50 RLs ~£300 total (rrp was something like ~£750 a few years ago).

@N0bodyOfTheGoat - we've got a set and find they go out of true quite quickly due to spokes loosening. They're decent wheels otherwise.

My set from Sigma have barely been used to date because of my long covid, I've piled on the pounds (80 to approx 94Kg), seems fine so far.

I was thinking of using the front wheel on my ebike, but the 50 RL has a total weight limit of 110Kg. The ebike is ~15Kg without the Mahle SP1 battery extender, lights and a bidon... So by the time I'm kitted up, it's awfully close to the limit, if not beyond.

Hoping to take them for a spin or two on my Cube Attain GTC this spring/summer.
