It takes approx ten years and a popeye type arm to get air in enough to ride. Better off with CO2 capsules.

Iused to always use a mini pump and they were fine

did take some effort - but not too much

I don't normally stick eBay stuff in here, but if you're near Romford this might turn out to be a very good buy: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/336526020647

It's basically a Cervelo S3 copy with 11 speed Ultegra 6800 groupset. I've got a red/black one and have had one in this colour as well; we've compared it against son no. 2's S3 and they're a match dimensions and shape-wise.

Not found a bargain but after one. Recommendations for discounted cargo winter bib tights. I see these pop up on search, any reviews or anyone seen any others that might be a bargain? I'm looking now for bib tights for next winter as if I leave it until autumn to look then prices go skywards.
I specifically want ones with side pockets. I've got a pair of Galibier winter gloves which are good, not as mega warm as made out but good.

I know.. I know.. Its a BSO but hear me out  My Carrera got stolen in January, not long after I got it. With vet bills and vehicles needing MOT etc I havent had the money to replace it yet and get back out riding. Cue my neighbour... He bought this for his son to ride to and from school only to be told he didnt want it  So he offered it to me for £10. Bargain. Itll do the trick as a temporary short distances bike until i can get the £££ together to replace with something suitably sized.

£45+delivery, or only £36 if you take out the Frasers Plus credit (I didn’t).

I sometimes do multi-day rides off-road and always ride clipless. This has meant that I have to pack a pair of off-bike shoes which is a significant part of the luggage I have to carry. I bought these to be wearable off the bike as well as on. Not ridden in them yet but they are comfortable at first trying on and even come with two pairs of laces.

The way I see it, any bike being ridden and used as a bike should be, can't be described as a BSO :okay:

Worth noting that undersize can often be better on the body, myself now suspecting my habit of locking out my arms on long rides compounded my neck shoulder issues.
My old comfortable bike was undersized but with a new longer seat post and adjustable stem.
