Well done for 'manning up' and getting it checked out, too many people get on with things because they think its the right thing to do or are embarrassed at the thought of someone handling the family jewels.

its a bit of a lesson really, if you find something, get it checked early as possible, that way you are giving yourself the best chance whatever the outcome.

i get a blood test every year after a couple of my friends had issues. so far both tests have come back with no issues but that doesnt stop me having a rummage!

youve done the best thing here smoky, best of luck

and i dont agree with the whoever said that this thread is useless without pictures....

Good luck, Smokey! Hope it turns out to be one of the 'natural' lumps that many men have.

I found one in the mid 90s and it is harmless, and hasn't increased in size. Had a lump removed two years ago as a precaution (from my penis - impressive-looking scar ) but that proved to be benign.

Fingers crossed, eh!

Well the NHS are not hanging around, just got my appointment through, 9am tomorrow, (Wednesday) morning .

Now I'm not sure if their speed is a good sign or a bad sign TBH

I'm one of the many victims of the Don Whillans climbing harness era, crushed a goolie while abseiling and it's been painful on and off ever since. A few years ago I became convinced it was getting bigger so went to the GP and ended up having a scan, which was going OK until the door opened and about fifteen male and female medical students entered the room to watch.

Nothing untoward spotted though, I'm pleased to say, and I've become a Daddy since.

At least you won't be hanging around worrying for days on end. Good luck with the scan tomorrow!

Let us know how you get on. Best of luck !
Panic over, hopefully at least.

Consultant/Specialist bloke said it's highly likely to be either a cyst or a thickening of the tube which is quite common following the snip, (snip done 6 years ago).

He's still going to send me for a scan, the guy just had a good old rummage today, but I'm feeling much better about the whole thing now.

Thanks for all the messages peeps, CC'ers really are the best :hugs:
