Tempted to fly the Brompton flag on this one as the older one has had a major service (more like a complete rebuild actually as all hinges had to be replaced) and is running like a sewing machine.
On the down side, I've also had the chainring replaced with a 54t, which will make Bury Hill interesting.

It's ok. I always have a stock of variously coloured cable ends to match whichever bike. Taken the boring silver ones off and replaced with blue ones.

In a truly shocking development, I have bought orange cardboard for tomorrow night. Decided forecast was insufficiently favourable to ride up.

Cleaning the bike before the ride, I found an Ominous Bulge is my rear tyre. Fortunately I had a spare lurking in the SEECRIT BUNKER so put that on. Took the opportunity to do some cable tie voodoo on the back mudguard too. dellzeqq would be so proud.
