I am goingto do this as my first FNRttC. I moved to Manchester 13 years ago after living in Redhill and Horley, so it will be nice to ride the roads I started cycling on. Its also my Birthday on the 27th, so we will spend a long weekend in Brighton and visit a few relatives.

yeah that helped but also raised more questions only i can answer. too much information can be bad .

think i will stick with tourer . has hub dynamo lights and marathon pluses . and i can put a lightweight warm top in the panier which isn't heavy anyway

I'll be heading back into Central London and then East - and I'm not quick - average usually 15mph, but coming back will probably be somewhat slower!

I would be up for this, but unfortunately I've been sent to Coventry for some unknown reason.
I'm equally not in the habit of going places where I'm neither wanted or welcome.
