Mr Dellzeqq Sir, would you please add Ruth C to your list? Last seen asleep in Whitstable Sept 2009, with disreputable characters drinking all around...

Ahh good! 'RuthieKutchen' or something like that you called her last time I think...?

I think there's at least 5 or 6 for the return journey, not sure of the route though I was planning on following Aperitif or Ianrauk...... I won't be going to HPC, will leave at a suitable point to get me to my bed in SE London

I'm riding back (as per normal) and will bail towards Bromley / Croydon when the time comes. You're welcome to follow. I'll be the horizontal one tailing Ian and jabbing uselessly at a GPS

Big Martin's ride back would not be complete without a Devils Dyke Express run...up hill and down dale, getting a P.B. on the downhill and grafting to Rusper, and beyond. Add in a dose of the Croydon racetrack and that should do the trick!

Ok I'll play along and pretend I understood any of that and that I know of all those places!!

Seriously would like to climb Ditchling cos I've heard so much about it and never attempted it and I think I'm far better at climbing than descending. I can only let go of the brakes on hills I know well (SH you know which one.....)

You should be OK for Ditchling Martin - most of us can get up in about 5 minutes + the dust- it might take a bit longer in the tiring dawn. But you'll arrive at the top ready for a fast run in and a little peak before doing your best to irritate the speed camera into firing at you,(Adrian, User10571 and dellzeqq will give you experienced  'tuition' en route) on the way into Brighton proper...and beans, chips, egg, bacon, tea mmmmmmm! And morning sun!

That is a lot of people for a ride that you are not expecting to fill up

Eeek! It is gettin' kinda crowded. Simon - can I grab another two places for the Welsh Contingent, please? Mr & Mrs Clark are back from Barmouth and feeling particularly genteel...
