You can get ones that go under the down tube to for a bit more protection I think, assuming you’re not riding with lots of lowish stuff that could snag

Well I had an hour messing about, tried the Zefal rear mudguard and it didn't look good at all!.

I've "borrowed" the mudguard off my old GTECH and it fits really well, so might bit the bullet and buy another.

Fitted my Suntour NCX seat post at same time, excellent bit of kit they are 👍.

When I had a MTB eons ago complete with suspension forks I found fat set of full length mudguards drilled holes where I needed them and used cable ties. Worked perfectly.

Back one sorted, modified and repaired my GTECH one, nice and secure now!.

Made some reinforcing washers, formed around an old fork stanchion I had lying around, bonded on with Three Bond, all fitted and secure.

Front mudguard's at work, hope I like that or I'll have wasted a lot of money..

Measured wheel rim for a Tannus Airless tyre as well.

It's come out really well imho and no rattling!. Might put a couple of washers on my new GTECH mudguard as well, bit of preventative maintenance..

Front one fitted in 5 minutes (Crud XL), great bit of kit 👍.

I think that will do for Autum / Winter duties.
