NOT too far! I agreed that locals would find it easy - I knew it at a single glance. With the hint that it might be too far from Colin's residence, I thought it must be findable on one of the ford sites. Not Lancashire, not S Yorks, not W Yorks. N Yorks - I find something that could possibly be it with OS grid reference thoughtfully provided.
Not where I thought it wasWhere is this?

I would be interested to know where this is, but I can't promise to comment. Not where I thought it was![]()
I can see the resemblance now that you mention itIf I recall correctly, @Aravis is one of the few of us who has ridden in N Ireland. I wonder if that is the place to look? Certainly has the look of some of the mountains there but I'm no expert.

You're actually pretty close. The high ground above (to the S of) Llangynidr
You're actually pretty close.

Wouldn't that be a tad unhelpful to everyone else?Oh no. That means more time wasted faffing around on Google maps. Couldn't you just say "not even close"?![]()
The traditional way to solve these is to study the pictures. Clues, which may assist some, are usually offered after a day or two.If it's a Welsh name an anagram isn't going to be much help! (DLT nimbly goes bananas!)

I can't solve yours, by the way![]()
In which case I got yours wrong too
I was thinking it was an anagram of mbndtlily, i.e. rembrandtlily without r, a, r, e.
