I rewatched S1 recently and I decided to find out who the actor after his Crowning Moment of Awesome in the Eyrie.
I would never have guessed it was him!

A scene involving prostitutes was 'too close' to the watershed apparently.

"Campaigners warned it could lead to young people being ‘desensitized’ to content once considered shocking and being influenced by the behavior they displayed."

It could be said its a little hypocritical of them that on the same page you have the usual half naked snaps of 'celebs' down the right of the same page.

I find it a little incredible that fans could be shocked, I saw more gratuitous scenes in the first few episodes of the show.

Where is mary whitehouse when you don't want her? It is either before the watershed or after. How can you be too close to the watershed? It doesn't make sense. The tv companies can always change the watershed, or is that talking too much common sense.
