I'm a MIAS instructor (L5) and still train SAR groups, 2 or 3 sessions a year. Cyclecraft is worthy, but a bit, erm, basic compared to that which I'm accustomed to teaching.

@Drago so long as you don't get like my mother in law. She has carers in 4 x a day, but if they don't get her up, breakfast, lunch, dinner, bed etc. at the right time then all hell breaks loose.... What's 30 minutes late ?

If it wasn't for my family and work I'd probably spend all day in bed or watching tv.

Would be good for a fortnight but after that I'd be bored stupid!.

Would love to set my own shop up in 10 years time, and get my son involved (tuning cars), that would set me through to the end of it went well.

I like the idea of starting later and finishing early but having no purpose would drive me insane eventually..

You'll love it! It's like the beeb, only with all the metropolitan elite crap removed and replaced with stories about Vladimir Putin ninja-chopping liberals. Also it's got about 10x the beeb's budget (thanks again Vlad!).
Bumhole was not my first choice profanity. In fact it was about 10th. The swear filter on 'chat is getting pretty good these days.

Similar situation here. Just shy of 48. I'm up at half 6, coffee, walk the dog, tidy the house, sat down with a coffee again by half 8. Housework hardly fills my day.

Got a work injury, was never going to pass a baton course again and didn't fancy driving a desk any longer, so went on a medical. Would've gone in April 2019 anyway.
