An English and German woman were talking in the queue behind me as I waited to board a propeller plane. The English woman said it looked like something her grandfather would have flown in the Second World War. I nearly went into Basil Fawlty mode!

Had a cracker today. I’m teaching the Tudors in my class and I LOVE this history period so I got quite animated describing how handsome and vibrant Henry was when he was first king. When marking their work, one child wrote: Henry was hot in the olden days. He was cool and he was lush! 🤣
Another child wrote about the Holbein picture: The artist wants us to think Henry was important. But he spelt important wrong…so he wrote: the artist wants us to think Henry was impotent!

Yes she has from the top of the tower and walking the city streets. Cyclists have great city cycle routes clearly marked for cycles and E scooters. There are lots of E bikes with big fat wheels but not many ordinary cycles but they are about.
Up early tomorrow for the Rocky Mountaineer experience which departs at08.00 for Kamloops.

It's not an exact science, they have them almost every day for breakfast but it's just 5 tablespoons'ish of plain flour, a slosh of milk and an egg, it's open to slight variation, that's my excuse anyway
