I'm surprised no one has mentioned Bon Scott era AC DC

Dan Fogelberg - who died in 2007, wrote a song I'd almost forgotten about until Radio Caroline came back last year, and they've been playing it. Good to be reacquainted with his stuff.

Only the hardest of souls could listen to this one, think about old flames, without a small tear. The shop In the song (true story) still exists in Fogelberg's home town of Peoria Illinois.

The Guitar Man himself, as he wrote the eponymous song, & played on the Presley version (Reed also wrote A Thing Called Love, as ably sang by Johnny Cash)
For some fine picking, listen to his version of The Devil Went Down To Georgia

A difficult choice to make, but here's Eddies tribute
He was sadly to die not much later

My pronouns are "He", "Him" and "buggerlugs"
Big Country for me, Loved them, seen them dozens of time, I was physically shaken the day Stuart Adamson died, took a half day from work and went home and played all my albums back to back

This, so much this. I don't think any musician's death affected me quite like Stuart's. The quintessential live guitar band, I think this captures what they were about:

How could I forget Stuart? (& for The Skids, too)
I still have some of my 'BC' vinyl
My copy of The Crossing has a blue cover, but I've seen red & green sleeves
Does that signify pressings??

I used to have a few of the shaped/picture discs
Forget whether it was In A Big Country, or Fields Of Fire, that was Scotland shaped
Wonderland 12" was clear, or was it white?
