Slightly stale hot cross buns. Cut into 2 and spread butter and jam. Put into small ramekin and fill with custard. Into hot oven for around 20 mins. Yum.

Tis true. My point is that hcb makes an excellent b&b pudding.At that point, we're not talking hot cross buns. We're talking bread and butter pudding, which is a whole 'nother level of excellence!

love hot cross buns, cold with butter on, toasted and buttered and even with a dab of jam if the mood takes me.
At the other end of the spectrum, I absolutely loathe the smell of Kippershorrible smelly things that seem to stink the house out for days...............my Mrs loves them.
