A spoonful of carnation tinned cream and a sprinkling of sugar - brown or granulated.
TL;DRI know the purists here will probably shoot me down in flames
But, after years and years of eating plain porridge made with either water or milk, I`m sick to death of it. I want to go on eating the stuff because it`s healthy. How does everybody else make it a bit more interesting??
I`m open to any ideas!

Hate cinnamon, stick with adding some honey!A little cinnamon can help if you're only using water. Mix it with the oats before adding the water. Cinnamon is also very nice on buttered toast!
I've just come across this cocoa idea elsewhere (apparently polish people have their porridge like this).Mix in some cocoa powder, peanut butter or nuts. Any fruit...fresh, frozen, dried or canned. Or if you want to be radical, salt!
