Between 5am and 6am , best part of the day , very few cars and people , nice and quite , normaly get back around 9am , so got the rest of the day with the family.
Summer weekends - around 6.30 am, back by 10am as the family surface from their slumbers.
Winter weekends - all bets are off until 8.30 am (no ice, frost, snow,RAIN) ..... I don't get out much in winter
as the sun gets up earlier i'm actually looking forward to those sunday mornings when i can't sleep and can perhaps slip out of the house at 4am to cycle round cheshire as the sun rises and the mist burns off.
pure.
bliss.
I stated earlier I'd leave at 4:20 if commuting but If I'm on nights or day off I would go about midday. This leaves me enough time for a 2-3 hr ride and get back to greet my daughter from school
+1. Otherwise, depends on where I'm going and where I'm starting from. Starting from London last Saturday, I was up at 3.45 for a 5 am train into Victoria. For long runs from home, usually 7.30-8.30.
