2002 corolla has done 145,000 miles. = 8,500 ish miles per annum.

Big mile eater  - my 2002 Primera has done 125,000. Did a fair bit in the first 3 years I had it - 18k p.a., then lots less/sometimes not being driven enough - the car didn't like it - ran rough for a couple of years - runs like a dream now I've used it a bit more.

Last year just over 9k, but we made a conscious decision to use the car less and other forms of transport more.

I used to be knocking on the door of 20k a year, then I got it down to 14-15k so things are heading in the right direction.
90% of the mileage is commuting which gets both of us to / from work as I drop Mrs ND off and pick her up again later - we try to use public transport one day a week when possible but the time differential is simply too much to change permanently (I know as I'll have a week on public transport every few months to see, but it more than doubles journey times and that's when everything goes to plan).

The good news is that the reduction in miles has meant it no longer made sense for us to have a diesel (albeit about as eco-friendly a diesel as you could get) and we've downsized to a small petrol car.

Thanks but no thanks. I think I'll pass.
My car will be 8 years old in a couple of weeks and i have done a grand total of 26,000 miles in all that time. Making just over 3,000 per year.

Having just had my car's MOT, it listed the mileage at each MOT. So I could work out the annual mileage.

2016 6,242 miles
2017 7,983 miles
2018 4,947 miles

It is generally on a downward trend from previous years. What kind of mileage are you driving each year?
Around 15k in my own car, plus a bit in the motorhome then a large amount in hire cars overseas. 20k plus pa total probs.

Private car, between 6 & 7,000 p.a, van does around 26 to 27,000 p.a, once in the late eighties I put 56,500 on a diesel Astra in 6 months on call outs, when refuelling it I gave the reg number for the all star card, then the mileage, the bloke behind said where the hell have you been in that? I replied it’s easier to say where it hasn’t been.

About 5,500 miles last year on my 23 year old Peugeot now showing about 210,000 on the clock. It had pretty low miles when I bought it 12 years ago. It's all leisure miles nowadays, my annual mileage is well down from when I had a 50 mile round trip commute. I can now walk to work. The car can gracefully slip into retirement. I still enjoy driving in the right circumstances - much the same way as I enjoy cycling - far away from any busy main road.

When I worked my round trip commute was 84 miles per day. Annual mileage of around 20,000 for that plus business mileage would put me at 28-30000 pa. Always a company car I'm pleased to say.

Following retirement about 7000 depending on how much we go away in the UK. 2018 I rode 6328 miles but only drove 6119.

Mine did 4000 last year, but I usually use my motorbike for commuting so that has done another 3000. The car is used for running my son around, visiting my parents etc.

I bought it, at about 7 months old, with (circa) 6,500 miles recorded, now it's just knocking on the door of 135,000 miles

That's mainly due to when first bought it, my wife was driving to Cardiff, Newport, or Bristol twice (maybe three times a week), so the mileage racked up very quickly
Then that died back a bit, after 2014, so it slowed down

eg;
From 'service book'

June 2012 = 18,643
May 2013 = 41,715
Oct 2014 = 70,586
June 2015 = 81, 412 (slowing down a bit)
March 2016 = 91,684
March 2017 = 108,433
Nov 2017 = 12,187
Sep 2018 = 131,458

It will creep up even slower now, as 'Senior Management' bought herself a new car (Toyota C-HR hybrid), in July, & I've been the only driver since

Since that service, it's covered about 2,500-ish miles

When we had the Jaguar XKR, that did about 10,000 miles in 3 years!!!

I've done about 40,000 miles over the last 7 years in my car, so an average of around 6,000 miles a year.
Plus about another 1,500 miles a year driving the Scout minibus

My vehicle mileage is going up, as I did 33 trips to in 2018 to our latest building project, which is a minimum 160 miles round trip (6k PA), which means 2018 will be over 10,000 miles
