quick quiz, how many spacers used? And yes I know the bike is too small for me, but I just love it too much to sell it!

If you have to adjust the geometry that much then I would get rid of it as its nowhere near the right size for you.

Will sell it next year, once I’ve saved up for its replacement!

Yes, I'd be interested to see that stem under heavy twisting while climbing or when braking hard down a steep hill. :ohmy:

I always thought that this was an ugly but acceptable bodge/work-around but while looking around for frames the other day came across this and now wonder if it is actually a structural integrity issue ?

The guy in the shop said it would be ok, I do have my doubts thou.

Will get it cut down based on the above and go back to a flipped stem, how I had it before!

Yes I looked at it and wondered how strong it is, what are the chances of it failing if put under stress.
