How much cash do you carry?

Generally about a fiver and a card. I try to save more than I spend.

About £20, I've never paid by card in a pub though if it's just beer time.

£0-£100. If I'm out on the bike I used to like to carry a Fiver for a cafe stop but I'm finding a lot of cafes are just over that, so I carry a tenner in case they don't take card but most do, it saves me carrying change and with contactless it's faster than cash.

Usually a couple hundred at least. Goes back to being a kid with nothing and being only able to spend what I had in my pocket. I almost always use a card, but it's a daft mental cushion that I still like to have a fair amount of cash in my wallet.

Now our work's canteen has started taking card/contactless payment I'll knock that down to a fiver

Zilch - debit card only. No credit cards in our house. There's always a pile of shrapnel in the car for meters.

In the wallet I keep £60 cash & a debit card. It`s rare if ever I use the card. When I get home I usually top the wallet back up to £60 prior to going out again.

A little tip: Keep a bit of folding stuff hidden in the car boot in case you go some place and forget your wallet. It`s happened to me a few times and it has saved the day.
