Where will you go when the pub shuts down due to lack of takings?

If i didn't go in and buy say 7 or 8 pints a week like i normally do,they'd get NOTHING off me.

I am not tight as such, I will gladly get the first round and a few more besides. I will get the cakes or bacon butties in on a group ride, and am more than happy to see someone using something I no longer need without beer tokens changing owner. However, I am careful and will always repair rather than replace where possible. One little trick I have homed in on in recent years is to wrap my sandwiches for work in the old bread bags and muffin wrappers. I can't see the point of paying 5-10p per food bag while chucking a perfectly good food grade wrapper in the bin!

When I was working I used to keep the old bread bags to line my sandwich box with.

I'm not "tight" by any means, but I'm gonna be soon, because I bought some cycling clothes for my summer tour on sale, they were really cheap but my size was out of stock, so I got a smaller size

They make a habit of serving short measures. Call it a bit of payback.

I always take a pack-up and flask when I go to race meets and cat shows. A few years ago at the Supreme, a friend of mine who shows raggies forgot her packed lunch (long story involving cat peeing on show drapes) and ended up coughing up £7 for a sandwich and coffee...

I use good old fashioned soap. 3 bars of Imperial Leather from Poundland, lasts a couple of months at least. The other wasters in my family use shower gel
