Personally I really dislike Ikea and have not been for years. I am having a small bedroom re-fitted and the joiner suggests I get all the wardrobes/units from there and he would adjust and fit them.
He tells me the internal drawers/hangers etc are excellent.
Any experiences here?,

I'm not a fan - it's on my forbidden shops list - but sadly Mrs D likes it.

We've some chests of drawers, the bed in our spare room, and a wardrobe from Pukea and for flat pack kit it is fairly decent. Fairly well designed, solid, decent fasteners.

Useless fact - 20% of folk in the UK sleep on an IKEA mattress.

We have just fitted IKEA PAX in my parents new place. It looks great. For them, Ikea‘s designated fitters Task Rabbit did the fitting, and a fantastic job.
l’ve also had Pax in my two bedrooms, must be at least 15 years old in the main one, and good as new.
You can also change the inners in future if needed.
I believe you can go to store and they’ll help you design what you want

It could be worse, my father was a real fan of MFI.

The springs must be knackered by now.

We don't love off IKEA furniture but if there is something we like, then we will get it from there. Examples are my very large computer desk, a bed, various bedroom furniture. It's actually pretty good and better than the price you pay. On the other hand, bespoke furniture is also very good, better than IKEA of course, but I feel it's still not worth the price paid and a lot of it is boutique/glamourised stuff.

But to answer the specific question about if IKEA furniture is good or not: imho yes it is.
