In really cold conditions are mitts better than gloves?

They're abominations that should be replaced with DT levers

Everyone to there own personally i like sti (or sram/ campy similar ) but have to agree theres some advantage with DTs, when its really cold when using sti shifters i sometimes end up braking instead of changing gear.

Mitts or gloves inside mittens for me on the coldest days. Mittens are good when it's really cold because you can drop a reusable handwarmer in them to warm them up when starting off.
