btw are you going up the Haylie Brae on the way back? Or Fairley Moor or Old Largs Road?

Tug it is that but once up there it gives you a cracking view the return trip also give you a workout up halies brae leaving largs

It's not worth the risk in this weather, it's not worth losing time off your work because you got an injury because you risked it on the ice....

Sore knee, elbow and pride but thats it, tempted to get a MB and fit it with some studded ice tyres for this weather

Yeah, I'm not doing any sort of descending in this weather. Had a big slide on some ice this morning, but managed to keep upright.
