Mine now feels like falling into soft cushions in comparison to yours

I just have road rash on knee, thigh, elbow, back and shoulder and a lovely multicoloured bruise developing on the thigh. Bike was unharmed expect for a scratch on the shifters and the rear deraileur.

Heal quickly

Looks awful sorry to say, I bet you was more concerned about the bike.
must admit they wouldnt let me get up while in the road and when i asked how the bike was they said " you dont want to know just yet "
i sort of slumped thinking - i aint getting home under my own steam
didnt realise i had been knocked out for a bit and the helmet was no longer gonna fit !
i know it could have been a lot worse but aches and pains are taking over now and feeling sorry for myself now

Oof bad luck mate. But by the sounds of it insurance has it covered.

Head injuries are the most worrying. There was a court case in London last week where a women was killed after being struck by a cyclist at a relatively slow speed. To think all those years no one wore helmets!

Heal fast mate, you've got some hills to drag me up in a few weeks!

Road rash is bad enough Kip. Bloody annoying! Glad the bike isn't too bad though.

As with Berty, heal fast mate!
