lol...I've done that at least once.

I'd love to say that I learned from my experience ;)

Been there also. Luckily I could nab a pair of protective trousers and I always keep a few fleeces etc at work.

Didn't like the 'commando' malarky though - trousers were white.  ;) ;)

Now I make sure I keep a decent stock of essentials.

I often forget my bra (most ladies need a sports one to cycle in). Anything V-neck like makes it really obvious as the sports bra's enormous and peeks over the top. In my mainly male office ;)

It's a 'mare. I always keep tracky bottoms and a t-shirt plus underwear in my desk draw. Serves as an emergency backup. I've not forgotten my clothes yet but I did get so wet one morning that the rain penetrated my 'waterproof' pack, so the tracky bottoms came in handy whilst my kit dried.

I only ever forget my human shoes (weird that, seeing as they are the most obvious piece of clothing!), but so far I haven't a.) stubbed my toe, b.) fallen down the stairs or c.) needed people to carry me on a sedan chair to the shops in all my time of walking around the office in socks

Yep, bag with emergency stuff at work, need to bring a shirt in actually thinking about it.

I have shirt, underwear and socks in my drawer. Monday is the tricky day as I tend to bring my trousers for the week in then. If I forget it's a problem. I haven't yet! Have forgotten the shirt a couple of times though.

Done this a couple of times, but as I cultivate a slightly dishevelled look at work anyway, nobody notices much difference.

It had to happen. Got to Clapham Common after cycling about 10 miles and rrealised I'd left my shirt, pants and socks at home, in my rucksack with my wallet and cycle repair things. Couldn't be bothered going back home. So sitting here in my shorts, stinking the place out, waiting for Leather Lane market to open so I can buy a t-shirt/shirt before having a shower. At least I leave my trousers and shoes at work.

Lol! I can see it now: dress shoes, trouser, tie ... and full lycra

Never forgotten anything major [touch wood], but for some reason I forget to put a belt for my trousers into my rucksack about once a week. In fact, I'm typing this while wearing no belt.

I keep about half my wardrobe in various bags under my desk, and take some of it home when every I drive in, aiming to always leave a full change of clothes in the office at all times (apart from pants - they get taken in every day in my tracksuit pocket - with backups in the office just in case)

Did this quite soon after I had started commuting. Passed BF on the road home as he went back to work (he was on back shift and had been home for dinner). Just after he passed I realised that I had no key.

Stopped and phoned him but he had a meeting to get back to so I spent the next couple of hours sitting in the back garden (and eating chocolate for my dinner from the village shop). Lucky it was a nice summer evening.

Now I would prob turn round and cycle to his work to get the key but those days the few miles a day was enough for me!!

Got another key cut the next lunchtime and am very good about putting it straight back in my handbag when I open the door.

God, all over the place at the moment. Phoned wife just before leaving to say I'm on way home.

"Ok" she said. "By the way, we will be shoppping in Kingston when you get home. Should be home by 7.30."

"OK" I said.

Approached my house at 6.20. That's right. Only then does s**t for brains here realises that I HAVE NO KEY AS IT IS IN MY WALLET WHICH IS IN MY RUCKSACK WHICH IS IN MY HOUSE WHICH IS LOCKED AND MY WIFE IS IN KINGSTON THREE MILES AWAY.

So cycle to Kingston, pick up keys, home, shower, cold bottle of beer.

At last.
