The twin cylinder foot pump won't get to 100 psi, but then it says it only goes to 5 bar (72 psi) I've knackered one of this design from argos, trying to do bike tyre.

The mini foot pump does say its rated to 7 bar, just over 100psi.

It might be useful, but end of the day I'd go with Cyberknight and recommend a trackpump. You can usually pick one up from asda etc for a tenner.

The clothing looks very much like the Crane gear from Aldi. I'm using plenty of that stuff 4 of 5 years after purchase, no problems.
You can pick up a track pump for a £10r but you will struggle to get it to pump a tyre to 100psi. Worth spending a little more for much better quality [based on personal experience.]

Different experience, mine was a tenner from Aldi, about 3-4 years ago, after I knackered the twin cylinder foot pump. Used regularly for MTB, Hybrid and car with schraeders, upto about 60 psi. The roady (I use a presta adapter rather than switch round the connector internals) goes up to110psi. I regularly go a few psi above and release abit. Its used on a weekly basis.

Nice one. Maybe it's the luck of the draw then

Then it seems as though the quality has improved. Great to be wrong. Roll on Thursday

Thursday is at Lidl not Aldi and they are not so good with track pumps from what I here but I haven't tried them myself.

I think I may have to have a trip, I like look of trousers and desperately need a pump as my Aldi one, bought a few months ago, has broken already. So not always good to buy cheap. Think I will try the LBS and buy quality. Cant spend another hour trying to get 100psi in the work horse with my mini pump, it was a workout in itself

There does seem to be fluctuation in quality. But then with things like jackets, you're paying a quarter of what you'd expect to pay at Wiggle etc. I remember having arguments with Bonj (who doesn't) about the quality of Aldi jackets. He'd got one home and the zip had gone, so they were all crap. Zips were one issue people seemed to have with them. Personally I'd have tried it on in the shop and given it a quick check. I've never had a problem taking stuff back, only in getting a replacement if they've sold out.... :-)

BTW a 2 year old Aldi black cycling jacket is my everyday coat.

I find the clothing great. OK jerseys are not the highest wicking fabric in the world but at the price you can't go wrong. Had an issue with one zip on a jacket and had it replaced no bother at all. I wish the shoes were in larger sizes TBH as well. I have had many issues with their tools however.
