In secondary school it was Adidas Kick, or Rom.
Harrington jackets, white socks and burgundy stay press trousers.
Also Rucanor bags, wish they still made them, I had a red one

Ha ha, black Harrington with red tartan lining and burgundy stay press. I must have looked like a right galoot.

Ha ha, I think I did. Was it a Grease throwback or what, but I distinctly remember buying metal studs from the local motorbike shop. What an absolute roaster.

Our Sunday's were:-
Glen Michaels Cavalcade (crap) on tv.
Begging for sweets before the wee local shop closed at noon, usual answer was no!
Sunday roast lunch, used to hide the sprouts and other green stuff inside a Yorkshire pudding
World at war on tv, pure depressing
Stars on Sunday
Bubble bath with my sandalwood smelly stuff
Then watching tv, (I always wanted to watch the Sunday palladium with Jim Dale) usually some David Attenborough documentary that made me sad because of wee animals dying.
Amazing what we remember, may the past remain there

Just for the snooker though?

Remember when they had snooker on the telly in the black and white days? If i remember,the audience and the ref' were blacked out,so all you could see were the players and the table. The commentator had to explain which colour the balls were.
