Supposedly someone from "down south " went to Herefordshire when they were in tier1 for a pint. Southerners, they just don't care.....!

I live in a village outside main town. One primary school and all kids play together at local skate park/centre. Playgrounds remain open in this lockdown and already the mums arrange meet up to let kids ‘burn off’ energy. Today there will be 20-30 kids all their of ages 5 up to 16 with parents too. The older ones are from surrounding towns. I dont see point in school even closing

This is my thoughts too. At least in school they are kept in some sort of order. I can guarantee that our local park and walks will be filled with families from other areas treating lockdown as another extended holiday same as last time.

Grandkids school (5 & 9) yesterday decided that all the windows had to be left open to ventilate & let the fresh air in as per the Government guidelines, however the head also decided not to inform the parents of this prior to it happening & then forbid the wearing of coats in the class, the kids were freezing all day long.

Had this since they returned in September. Windows and doors permanently open and all in coats learning

The playground in the park closest to me has been closed as it's inside the Covid test centre boundary.

I was expecting with schools closing so too would the village centre play area and skate park but oddly not which to me defeats the object as everyone just gathers their for exercise and socialising as they do every weekend during a normal year. Everyone is entitled to use facility so as long as parents are distancing then no rule broken:wacko:. To me they should have just kept school open as it amounts to same thing

It's alright saying 'keep schools open' - is not OK if it's not safe for the Teachers. Those parents letting the kids mix in a playground, then they need to accept the risk that their kids will bring the virus home and possibly to grand parents - fine if you are younger (my SIL has this attitude) but the older you are the more it's a gamble, and not all Primary Teachers are in their 20's and 30's. This new strain has spread like crazy.

The poor darlings deserve a break. Those nasty other teams keep beating them .
Really though; how can this be justified? Lock the lazy useless overpaid morons in their training ground at Lennoxtown and don't let them out until they learn how to play football.

They even got their game with Hibs put back a day so that they could go to Dubai. I can't understand why the SPFL agreed to that request.
