Hey I'm still getting it and I'm 58 !
recently had an op to FIX my dodgy heart and now I have to negioate how far I can go.
before with my dodgy heart I could get away 60mile rides - now I'm fixed the boss is restricting me to about 12miles.
And it's only because they care.

It's up to them, you won't change their outlook no matter what you do

Just don't bring it up in conversation and if they do make a minimal reply and change the subject
