Surely that is a factor of the intensity at which you ride not the distance per se? Understand, of course, that twiddling to work over 30km makes commuting by bike a little too time consuming.
Precisely. As much as I like cycling, I don't have that much spare time on weekdays.

I wear lycra for cycling, tweed and business suits for work and I look f*cking fabulous all the time; like I'd listen to some tosser who thinks I give a shite what they think. Unless they tell what I already know, that I am fab-you-luss :girldance:

Dress for the destination not the journey? Will never catch on with cyclists.
See, one week they say that and then the next week when you show up at work with hypothermia they're all "no such thing as bad weather, only wrong clothing"
