Mileage for 2019.

Only took up road cycling for leisure in April when I purchased my first road bike. Just totted up my score and its a touch over 700 miles. Rides between 20 and 50 miles. I have various other commitments so its weekends only and I am very much a fine weather leisure cyclist so the road bike was tucked in for the winter back in September.

Add another few hundred commuting on the hybrid and I am probably around 1,000 miles all in.

my increased miles is partly due to completing the ABC challenge.

I’ve added a few more miles since 22/12, total now is 1567.28

Hoped to get on few more miles over Christmas etc than I did primarily due to spotting a very worn rear tyre and postie not yet having delivered the replacement So 2768 miles, had hoped to exceed 2800. 892 of those on the ebike , the vast majority being commutes with 84ft/mile climbed on the round trip.
In all the ebike assisted with 68201ft of climbing while pure pedal power on the road bike accounted for 111459ft along with 25 metric half centuries.

Last year I managed 800 miles, so target for this year was 1000
Total for 2019 is 2726 which includes my longest ride so far of 72 miles. Was hoping to make 2800 but put my back out 4 days before Christmas
Had 1 bike at start of the year now have 3 it’s getting addictive

2964 miles this year. My "commute" is about 250 yards so I don't bother with the bike. Most of my mileage is shopping for myself and the horses feed. I did my own version of the Dunwich Dynamo (started from Codicote and joined the route at Dunmow) 220 mile round trip.
