she's not funny and she's only got a show so the bbc can say they doing their 'equality' bit for women's comedy. much like every show seems to need a token black, homosexual, or asian person, or heaven forbid, a ginger person, when the theme or script doesn't call for it.

It's not a token ginger person. We're just better than all the other actors who went for that role. Because we're all brilliant.

There appears to be some confusion, let me try and clear it up...

Good
Mitchell and Webb
Peter Kaye
Jimmy Carr
Victoria Wood
Alan Partridge
Frankie Boyle
Milton Jones
David Brent

Bad
Miranda Hart
Paul Merton (of late)
John Bishop
Steve Coogan
Hugh Dennis
Shaun Locke
Ricky Gervais

I hope that helps?

Steve Coogan as himself, or just as characters other than Alan Partridge... I loved that show he did with Rob Brydon and a Cock and Bull Story...

I love Hugh Dennis - Damn you Krapotkin! And the Paul Merton BAnk robbery sketch is one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

And we've missed comedy genius Bill Bailey here. He made me laugh so much I cracked my head on the back of the seat!

I find Miranda Hart entirely unfunny. I solve the problem by not watching her programmes.

+ Michael McIntyre- who despite the media hype stays true to himself and is a happy, funny man.
Read Frankie Boyle's autobiography and now consider him to be psychologically disturbed with regard to his views of sex and women. He really does hate people.

Which was the one with:

"Don't mention that Nazi Gold?!" That was the one that made me crack my head.

And which was the one with "insect nation" and "chris de burgh". I love that one!

And let's not forget Rich Hall, I bloody love him!

Woah ! Be careful. I don't know if the Nazi gold thing relates to Jews or the reference to insects can be deemed anti-insect and I haven't thought how the Chris De Burgh might offend someone but someone on here will be offended for sure.

I'm trying to shed my football playing, hairy-arsed engineer mentality and become an oversensitive cyclist so please.....bare with me while I get up to speed.

I like *him*, and I've heard him do off the cuff stuff and ad libs that are excellent - he's really quick on his feet.

But his act, I don't like at all (although a Dragon's Den bit he did on one of the roadshows made me chuckle).
