Dogtrousers

Lefty tighty. Get it righty.
What I don't understand is considering he's a multi-millionaire football coach and high profile at that why did he have such a terrible job done on his teeth? They look terrible.

And why does he need to appear in adverts for a hotel booking agency? Aren't his football related millions enough for him?

Stupid question. Of course they aren't.

Is he the kid who says "I see dead people"?

Goes and checks ... Yaaaaay! I got a cultural reference! I'm in touch with the zeitgeist!

I've never seen the film but I've heard of it.
The kid with the big 'moon face' who always looked like he was about to burst into tears, yes.

Ah, Trivago. We no longer make anything or do anything useful. Instead we sit in the middle as facilitators taking a little bit of cash from above and below in the chain.

I plan to start my own company. Don't waste time using these facilitators. Use Y-FrontTours (tm). Our team of agents spend their time screwing over Trivago, Secret Escapes, Skyscanner and CozyCozy so you don't have to.

From an advertiser's point of view the best adverts are ones that people remember - and remember the brand. I don't suppose they're too fussed if we are annoyed.

So congratulations to the Trivago ad agency and Herr Teeth
Maybe I'm an exception but I might remember an ad associated with the anger and would avoid buying/using.

Ads need to be paid for and it's in effect a surcharge on the purchase price (when and are broadcast frequently at prime times).

If I want a product I'll look around as adverts don't mean the product is best for my needs/constraints. Adverts I remember discourage me selecting the company.

These days there seem far too many taking their cut between you and the product. Eg blog websites with links to items on Amazon Marketplace so blogger gets a cut, Amazon gets a cut, market place seller gets a cut, distributor gets a cut, etc.

He endorses a whole bunch of things.

Lots of people in sport do... Mo Farah, Jess Ennis-Hill, Andy Murray, Lewis Hamilton... The list goes on.

If you were approached by a company and offered millions to endorse their product, you wouldn't turn them down.

Indeed. Its difficult to say no to someone who's just driven a tipper truck full of cash up to your house.

That said, were I in that enviable position id draw the line at unhealthy food and snacks, unnecessary SUVs, that sort of thing.

Most likely I would, but I'm not typical.
