It's not actually something bad but the situation requires consideration of bicycle needs!

Are those the best wheels for the money as I have found for £160?

OK, a quick search around, I reckon I could do this for ~£1200 + any build cost...unless I have forgotten something absolutely obvious (I have saddle and pedals) ...

Frame + Fork - £400
Handlebars - £30
Stem - £20
Apex Groupset (seems to include everything needed) - £420
Tape - £15
Seatpost - £40 (these are a mystery to me)
QR skewers - £25
Fulcrum 5 Wheels - £160
Tyres & tubes - £60

That would leave around £30 for sundries...does that seem about right?

Maybe a bit of shopping around could get you a bit under the £1200 mark (the fulcrums come with skewers ) but even at that price, that's a cracking bike for the money.

Having had another look, I am certainly taken with the orange beastie, definitely need a 54cm and have found the frame and fork for £399! Stocks seem low, my credit card is wobbling and I should get a few quid on Royal Mail shares

Bit the bullet on the frame after finding it for a good price at a London shop...I will soon have many brown boxes
