The lights I just bought from Poundstretcher were rubbish.

The clips snapped as I tried to fit them.

Thinking of taking them back for a refund.

Finish Line wet lubricant. Seemed absolutely useless for what it was designed for and much more expensive than similar products that were substantially superior.

+1 it just caused undue annoyance and wasted time cleaning and re-lubing with something that works.

anything hi-viz. Gaz has provided the urban critique and in the countryside it just looks awful. Hardly a case of man and machine in perfect harmony with his environment when you have to wear sunglasses to look at 'em. Thought hi-viz cladding looked spectacularly out of place on y'days veteran car chase.

in particular pieces of hi-viz reflective springy stuff sold as cycle clips. you know the sort, they look like day-glo rulers then 'snap' they go all circular. utter rubbish. No big enough to go around my trousers, not strong enough to stay in place even if they did fit. went for bagaboo velcro ones instead.

Anything by Campag in the last 5 years. Seems they may be running down the higher-prices-for-worse-equipment-route which more or less signs their death warrant, other than for us gullible cyclists.
