I think I may just have complicated matters.

I have an interview in two weeks. So naturally I had a look today on the job centre website to see what was on there. Usually this yields nothing of interest because what I like doing is unusual even for people with my qualification; I like training people and working with people with Psychological and addiction issues, most jobs available are with people with mental disabilities. I've done this, I was happy enough, but for some reason Psychological and training is my thing...

Anyway, about halfway down, I came across a listing for a trainer in basic woodwork for young people who struggle to get apprenticeship places. I'd seen it before and liked it, but dismissed it regretfully as it was quite some way south, so I thought it would be hard to visit family in Stuttgart.

Thus time the penny dropped; it's on the rail line from Stuttgart to Switzerland, so one train will get my back to the city in about 1h45min, instead of three trains and three hours at the moment.

I sent my CV. Now to see what happens next.

It's in this town, if anyone is interested

With post being so unreliable these days it is hard to tell if you are being scammed or that the post is just late .
I recently bought a plastic kit on FB marketplace , pretty cheap with postage . At first the seller wanted payment by bank transfer. I said that I would prefer PayPal. He agreed and said that he would post it the next day. Everything seemed fine until I noticed that he hasn't cancelled the sale of the kit which is still up for sale . I may just be paranoid but it does make me wonder!

It'll take me more than 1hr45m to get there.

Tesco has been tescoed, and Eurovision is now being eurovisioned.

Cheese on toast for supper.

Tonight's yellow sticker pickings were as follows: a small packet of stewing beef (for Madam Lexi), three packs of wild Pacific salmon (could have taken a LOT more than three, but am tight on freezer space), three packs of "Finest" ravioli filled with beef ragu, two pizza pie things, green beans, cauliflower, broccoli, a bunch of fresh dill, a raspberry frangipane tart, a Thornton's mini chocolate gift cake, four chocolate & caramel buns, a box of Portuguese custard tarts and three "Finest" ciabatta loaves from the bakery.

Not a bad little haul, that...

That's a strange direction for the northern lights!
Still, my windows face north and south and I saw nothing. Glorious sunset though.

So if you are looking south west ish from Felixstowe and I am in West Worcestershire, should I also be looking south west tonight? Last night I assumed I should be looking north which has a lot of light polution.
I'd had a look outside to the north & east a little earlier on but seen nothing - possibly due to light pollution from street lighting and housing in that area. My bedroom window faces roughly west and I noticed a bit of colour in the sky when closing the curtains which I initially thought was light from Felixstowe Dock (to my south west) being reflected off cloud until I realised that there was no cloud!

Haven't been able to see if there's a repeat yet due to the moon not having set.

Decided not to go with the shorts today wihich was a good move as it was quite chilly with an easterly breeze for the first part of the day at Brands Hatch. Had a nice & relaxing day trackside and remembered to stop off at my sister's on the way home to drop off a birthday card & present for my niece as they're off to Sheffield to see her on Sunday.

might have had a visitation from my Mother's Mother, today
