The head of MI6 still sign papers in green ink and always simply with a C.
Due to the 1st head Captain Sir Mansfield George Smith-Cumming who had a habit of going it.
Which has stuck ever since C now taken to simply mean "Chief".
He also suggested that British intelligence agents use semen as invisible ink during World War I, but later put a stop to it due to the smell.

Sunny, bit windy but almost warm.

Me too, seem to have adapted without noticing too much. My writings a bit of a scrawl though. I only realised I had adapted when I noticed others with their wrists contorted in strange ways or their paper at a very strange angle.

Bloody right handers Itssetting all these barriers up for us. Right handed scissors, right handed knives, right handed g knows what. We adapt and get owith it.

I am a reserve timer at the Scottish Curling Mixed Doubles in Perth this weekend.

Hello :hugs: :hello:

Nice to "see" you. You disappeared before our planned trip to Hawaii ? was it?

Yeah, dip pens. I sometimes use them for artwork but don't really get on with them. Plus an open bottle of ink is not the best idea when you've got nosey cats... I prefer to use artists pens.

IIRC fountain pens have been around since the 1930s or so, as I have a few marbled bakelite jobbies that used to belong to my grandad Arthur.

Yes ! Cats are better for covering large areas instead of fine detail !
