I don’t see any heatwave mentioned in the Met Office forecast up to 9th May

Another bright and sunny day so far.
Best get out and do something outside as the forecast is for rain for the forseeable future here.
Might try a tarmac road run today. The Dervaig road as far as the campsite is in dreadful condition with massive potholes but the road really needs to be closed to redo the whole one mile section.
The authorities are probably waiting on peak touroid infestation to to that.
I notice one of the lambs in the field opposite is black and white with an all white mother. Perhaps fostered.

At work. It's sunny but clouds are gathering. I just hope it stays dry for this afternoon when I have to ride to an appointment.

when I was a kid, we used our broiler to melt cheese on bread but we also put a strip of raw bacon on top. by time the cheese melted the bacon was also cooked. that was pretty yummy. haven't tried that in over 50 years tho

Used to do similar, but cut the bacon up as I don't have a good bite.

I've used the last bit of foil to cover a bowl of chicken while it defrosts.
Luckily, and with rare foreplanning, I have a new 10 meter roll in the drawer.
